Chapter 2

Detective albert brown

The classic guy

Hello everyone, it’s Detective Albert Brown here to tell you the story of how I caught a cyber criminal. Last time, when I thought I had him, I realized there was a bigger fish in the sea.

Right now, I’m at Gold Villa—a mansion notorious for cruel crimes. I came here because Tom told me he was picking up signals from this place.

I started searching the mansion. It was huge, empty, and felt haunted, but I kept going. In the basement, suddenly, a phone rang. I picked it up.

“Detective Albert Brown, I’m sure you haven’t found anything yet, but I think you’re getting close. I can’t guarantee you’ll catch me.”

I replied, “What do you want?”

He said, “Twenty billion dollars.”

“No one can have twenty billion dollars,” I said.

He replied, “Ask Jason.”

I was shocked—Jason was a legendary gangster who once ruled the underworld. Suddenly, I heard something behind me. Someone hit me.

When I opened my eyes, I saw an old man sitting in a chair. “Hello, detective. How are you? I’m fine, because I’m Jason. But Tony is not fine right now, so don’t waste your time replying to those calls.”

A lot had happened since I took this case. I asked him, “Jason, where is that money?”

He stood up, smiled, and said, “Tony’s father told me that the thing you call twenty billion dollars should not be with Tony until it’s ready.”

Oh gosh, this case had so many twists. “Why did he say that?” I asked.

Jason smiled. “He told me before he died. I’m also searching for the answer, but I know I can’t do this. You’re the detective—find out why. Tommy told me he doesn’t want Tony to discover a secret he took with him.”

Jason untied my ropes and let me go. “Don’t come to me without proof, or you will die.”

I went home and sat down, thinking about what Jason meant. After two hours, I understood—he didn’t say “twenty billion dollars.” He said “the thing you all call twenty billion dollars.” It wasn’t money—it was information.

Only Jason and I knew there was no money. It was about secret information. Those leaked videos, photos, and random files weren’t just leaks—they were encrypted data that only a highly skilled hacker could break.

I went to Tom and told him to check all those files immediately and delete them from the internet.

After six hours, we found the hidden message:

“Dear Tony, it’s Tommy Rogers, your father. Be ready—Hector is coming. Ask Jason for help.”

“Hector? Who is that?” I asked.

Tom looked shocked. “There was once a rumor that Hector murdered Tommy—for money.”

I was stunned. Hector wanted to kill Tony because Tony could be a danger to him.

I rushed back to Gold Villa. Jason was there. He asked, “Why are you here? Did you find anything?”

I shouted, “Who is Hector?”

Jason was shocked. He grabbed my collar. “How the hell do you know about that guy?”

I said, “He’s coming to kill Tony.”

“No way, detective—I’m here to kill Jason.”

I turned back. It was Hector—the one-eyed monster—smiling.

“Jason, let’s see who wins,” Hector said, and charged.

They fought like monsters. Jason, a fifty-year-old man, fought with incredible skill.

I realized both Hector and Jason were bad, but Hector was worse. I ran and pushed Hector away. He punched me and threw me aside.

I called the police. Meanwhile, Jason kept fighting. I told him to run—the police were coming.

They both stopped.

“Detective, I will kill you,” Hector said, and his men dragged him away.

Jason looked at me. “Detective, now it’s not just one case. There’s something else you have to do, and that is…”

To be continued…
